An unclassified hotel on South Kargar at Railway Square, a few minutes from the central station on its western side. Six room types running from a single all the way to a five-bed, a wider spread than most budget places here offer.
Double · Triple
A one-star on South Saadi Street in the budget strip below Imam Khomeini Square. Five room types, of which three, a single, a double and a triple, have no private bathroom or toilet; the other two do. Worth choosing deliberately rather than by price alone.
An unclassified budget house in Parto Alley off Naser Khosrow, beside Imam Khomeini Square and the bazaar. All four of its rooms, from the single to the four-bed, share a bathroom and toilet. It is the cheapest kind of bed in central Tehran and it does not pretend otherwise.
