In the alley beside the Nasir-ol-Molk mosque, the one whose stained glass fills with colour early on a winter morning, so you can be at the door before the crowd. Be careful choosing a room: several have no private bathroom or toilet, and the two cheapest singles have no window either.

Located at the start of Hafez Street opposite Hotel Shams in Shiraz's Darvazeh Esfahan, this simple guesthouse provides TV and a safe, making it convenient for budget-aware visitors.
Quadruple · Double
Three rooms only, in Alley 36 off Lotfali Khan Zand Street, in the old quarter close to the Vakil bazaar. A double, a quadruple and a compact double sold in a cheaper grade. Very small, and central enough to walk everywhere.
