At the Namazi junction opposite the Melli bank, and one of the cheapest beds in the city for a reason: five of its eight room types, from the single up to the four-bed, have no private bathroom or toilet. Three do. Worth choosing with your eyes open rather than by price.

In the alley beside the Nasir-ol-Molk mosque, the one whose stained glass fills with colour early on a winter morning, so you can be at the door before the crowd. Be careful choosing a room: several have no private bathroom or toilet, and the two cheapest singles have no window either.
