A small seven-room traditional lodge opened in 2024 within easy reach of the Ali Qoli Aqa historic bath, the Grand Bazaar and Naqsh-e Jahan Square - a characterful base for heritage-focused travellers.
A restored traditional house in Isfahan's old quarter, a few streets from the Hakim Mosque, with eleven rooms around a courtyard. The plain doubles are the cheapest way to sleep inside a house like this; the shah-neshin, the raised alcove where the household once received guests, is the most expensive room in the building. Two of the dearer rooms are the sardab and the howz-khaneh on the cool lower floor, the rooms a Persian house used to retreat into in July, and both are windowless. Seven rooms sleep two, four sleep three.
Six rooms off Khaghani Street in the Meydan Kuchak lanes, suites included. No singles: the smallest sleeps two. A small house in a quiet pocket near the river.
