Five-star Parsian hotel dating from 1968 on the banks of the Zayandeh River by Siosepol, part of the Parsian chain with spa, gym and traditional restaurants, a long-established luxury base in Isfahan.
Hakim St, Alley 9
A restored traditional house in Isfahan's old quarter, a few streets from the Hakim Mosque, with eleven rooms around a courtyard. The plain doubles are the cheapest way to sleep inside a house like this; the shah-neshin, the raised alcove where the household once received guests, is the most expensive room in the building. Two of the dearer rooms are the sardab and the howz-khaneh on the cool lower floor, the rooms a Persian house used to retreat into in July, and both are windowless. Seven rooms sleep two, four sleep three.
