A one-star budget hotel down a side alley off Neshat Street, in the dense old quarter east of Chaharbagh. Seven rooms covering singles through to five beds, which makes it one of the easier cheap options for a family. Expect simple rooms; the location is the point.

Nine rooms on Abdolrazagh Street at the top of the old bazaar, in a house that keeps its shah-neshin, the raised alcove a Persian household used to receive guests in. Some of the rooms connect, which suits two families travelling together. Sleeps one to six.

Four-room travellers' house opened in 2024 with parking, cafe and elevator, set very close to the Imam Mosque, Naqsh-e Jahan Square and Ali Qapu palace.
